On November 13, 2007 - OFP celebrated its 3rd anniversary! Three years and still running strong, unbelievable. Congratulations to OFP and Mean Goof. Ahoy ahoy everyone. As you might of heard, Canus Vespid was promoted to General, we would like to congratulate him on all his hard work and effort. His promotion was well deserved, but wait - what about OMG its sean? OMG its sean was promoted to Legate earlier this month and is doing gorgeous with his shaved head. Hydro was voted in to becoming a recruit and is working his way up to the top. Depo007 and Rabbit earned all their points and are now official full members of OFP. We would also like to congratulate Taco and Jennisplosions on becoming an Friend of OFP.
On another note, we are all extremely happy on BluSkyy's latest addition to his family, a baby girl!! Congratulations BluSkyy, we wish your family all the best.

Its been a long time since an update and I'm sure those who dedicated their lives to subscribing to the OFP News page are perhaps getting a bit anxious. Far back in January, our great friend Sirian Star became a recruit. That following week, a wave of promotions came down. BluSkyy and Mordecai were promoted to the prestigious rank of General, while MoFo, Yoshi, Canus Vespid, Taillac and Pinter where promoted to the honorable rank of Praetorian Guard.
In February, Depo 007, G0deh, and Koopa were promoted to recruits while Pillow Pants and Run and Hide became Friends of OFP. Smilin' Mike graduated his recruit period and became a full member. March started off with mm2plz and Enflorence becoming Friends of OFP. Soon after, Pillow Pants, mm2plz, Run and Hide and Enflorence all became recruits. LS, Beastfromhell and Jbril_13 graduated from the recruitment stage and became full members! This month SteveO Dark became a Friend of OFP.
We would all like to thank Canus Vespid for his outstanding work (not to mention the time and effort put in) for all the server plugins he's made for the OFP server! I also heard Joe-Momma has been feeling under the weather, so we all wish him to get well soon and get back to playing some Counter-Strike!

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, I realize everyone's spirits are pretty high at this time of year.
But nevertheless, it was still ont his day, two years ago, that one of the original friend of OFP, Tom Peters, aka =DD=Charles Bronson, passed away after a long and hard battle with cancer.
For those of you wondering what the {IMOCB} means at the end of my in game name, it means "In Memory of Charles Bronson". I want to keep his memory alive as long as this clan stays together.
In late 2003, Tom was told that his cancer was not operable (he had already been fighting it for quite sometime at that point). Then just a little while later (I think it was like in January 2004), the doctors scheduled him for operation to see if they could do something. The operation was quite invasive, it changed him forever. (I think the operation was around April 2004). The doctors said after the operation that they were confident they had removed it all. His recovery was painfull, with ups and down, then in the summer of 2004, he discovered that his cancer had spread to other organs, including the lungs. At this point it was all over for him, it was just a matter of time. He still played with us on his last few days. I believe the last time he played on the OFP server was in late November 2004.
Then around Christmass 2004, we all learned that he had passed away on Christmass eve. As per the last two years, I have a moment of silence on the anniversary of his departure, to show him that we still think about him and that we hope the CS team he has made up in heaven will still be around when we join him.
Rest in peace Tom. Your friend forever MG.

Well I have finally gotten around to updating the news again. I had it almost complete and had to format my computer and erased everything I had down so I had to start from scratch. I also want to apologize to my good friend Pinter because I forgot to report in my last news article that on August 10 he became a recruit. So Congrats Pinter and I’m sorry I overlooked it, but you know we still love you here at =[OFP]=.
Now to what all has been going on here at the great =[OFP]=.
On August 15th, Qwerty, was rewarded, for making several of our clan members in game sprays, when he was made a Friend of OFP. One day after that (August 16) Ompa was also made a Friend of OFP. August 22nd was a very busy day in OFP. A long time regular to our server, SmilingMike, was made a FOFP. Also on this day C-Diddy’s cousin, M-Diddy, Beast From Hell, and Qwerty were all made recruits. On August 24th our long time clan mate Lash was made a Legate, and 3 days after that Hudson was made a FOFP. On August 31 Syntherias had his ceremony where he became a full member to this great clan. We had a very busy month in August, and I want to say congrats to everyone for there promotions in the clan.
September was kind of a slow month in the world of OFP. On September 2nd Canus Vespid was made a recruit for all of his hard work. On a side note, long time clan-mate Mordecai took a trip and became famous on TV when he went to see all the craziness that is the Jerry Springer show. He seemed to have had a good time on his little trip, and why shouldn’t he?? He was on TV!
In October things started picking back up. On the 1st our good friend Sgt. Savage was promoted to legate as was DragonMasta. 7 days after that on October 8th SmilingMike was made a recruit. Congrats to you my good friend, and just two days after that (October 10) our favorite Lil’ Elfkin was promoted to legate. One day after that little ole’ Stefan was made a recruit again as he came back to us here at OFP. We wish him luck thru his recruit camp. On October 22nd the Fuzz was made a recruit. That brings us to the end of October so lets move into November!!
To start things off on November 1st Mordy’s goof friend Johnny Law was made a Friend of OFP as was my good friend U.S.M.C. I want to wish U.S.M.C. all the luck in the world as well as thank him and all our soldiers for serving to keep us safe at night. I, myself and we here at OFP want to thank everyone in Armed Forces for keeping us safe here at home. We know that unlike in Counter-Strike where you can respawn, fighting for our countries isn’t a game. They deserve our up most respect. Thank You all and may God bless you for what you do. Ok, I had to get that out. Back to clan news, on November 3rd longtime regular Dreadnot was made a Friend of OFP and our good friend D’Money was promoted to legate. Congrats you two. One day after that on the 4th, Pinter’s, and Tally Wacker’s good friend Scott Donaldson was made a Fofp as was long time regulars Whisper_Wings & Jibril_13. On November 8th Blu’s and Elfkin’s brother Bullet Magnet was promoted to Legate, and just tonight on November 9th OMG It’s Sean, and my Good friend Pinter were made full members. Welcome my friends and have fun.
At this time to give a special thanks to Pinter for all of the new maps he has been making, like our new ceremony map, and also to our good friend Canus Vespid for all of the plugin’s he has made for us such as the Awp Rule Plugin, and the Spawn rule Plugin just to name a couple. It is people like this that help make this family what it is today. Thank you 2 very much for all of your hard work.
Once again you can see this has been a mouthful and things are still growing strong here at =[OFP]=. I would like to congratulate everybody for their promo’s in the clan and look forward to see the clan keep growing. This is your local Joe-Momma, until next time be safe and happy fragging!!

Well it has come time again to update the news here at OFP. We have had a lot happen over the past month and a half so lets get into it.
On June 25th long time clan member Tool, after completing his 6 months as a full member, became a Legate. Four days later (on June 29th) OMG It’s Sean became an Urban Cohort (Recruit).
On July 8th , my gonads grew very large as I became a General, and on July 15th Rick James (A.K.A. Cold Rage) also became an Urban Cohort (recruit). One day later on the 16th of July Pinter became a FOFP. Pinter has now become OFP’s very own map maker. He has made us three great map’s, fy_ofp, fy_ofp2, and fy_ofp2k, and he is finishing the fourth map which is to be called de_ofp_place. I have played a beta of this map and it is great.
Also on July 16th Rouge Demo became a friend of OFP, and the next day (the 17th) we promoted one of our favorite Okie’s, Blue Skyy to the ranks of the Praetorian Guard. Congrats Blue. Also on the 17th of July, 2006 I became the “News Editor in Chief” and on July 18th our good friend Donde became a recruit, and just three days later (July 21st) both Hydro and Non_Compliance also became FOFP. The day after (July 22nd) our good friend and long time clanmate Danger Jen (A.K.A. Danger Girl, Indie, SeXXXay Babe) chose to leave OFP and move to a clan that was based closer to her in Texas. We, here at OFP, wish her the best of luck. Have fun Jen, and be sure and still come by the server and play. On to July 24th, our good friend Dubbie chose to focus more on everyday life and left the clan. We wish him the best of luck. One day later (July 25th) our good friend Syntarias became an Urban Cohort (recruit) and we wish him luck on his way up. We had another FOFP on July 30th and it is none other than M-Diddy, C-Diddy’s cousin. Welcome aboard M-Diddy.
So far August has been pretty busy as well. On August 3rd our good friends Mad Max and Put Put started a new clan, Road Warriors (|RW|). Cold Rage, Red, and Rouge Demo chose to go with RW. They still keep their Friend of OFP status, and we here at OFP wish them all the luck in the world. August 7th was a good day for us as well as Coke graduated from his recruitment phase and became a full member of this great clan (Centurion). One day after that (August 8th) .JJ. became a Friend of OFP, as did Batman. We wish them luck on their way to become full members. Just 2 days later our good friend Pinter became a recruit and is now working his way to become a full member of our clan. One day later (Aug 11th) Mr. Lone Wolf became our newest recruit, and on that same day, long time regular The Fuzz became a FOFP.
As you can tell we had a lot of things happen and we are still alive and kicking here at =[OFP]=. So until next month ya’ll have fun and happy fragging!!

Hello Everyone, this is the friendly neighborhood spoonmeister here.
Just wanted to let you know, News may be updated on a more regular occurance from now on.
That is all!
Where do I start, it has been nearly 3 months since I
last updated the clan news section, there is sooooo
much to report.
OFP is no longer with Speedwise
for the CS 1.6 24 slots server, we have moved to Affordable Game Servers. We love this new server provider, great ping
and great service. We still have a CS
source server with Speedwise, albeit the address has
changed.

As you can see, this clan is still very much alive,
there are things happening here on a daily basis, it just takes me a while to
report it.

Another month has passed in the history of the great
OFP clan and the clan is still growing strong.
Since the last news, on 12 March 06 we had three
ceremonies for graduating recruits, namely: Sgt Savage, Joe-momma, and Dubbie. Congratulations my good friends and welcome to full
membership. On 14 March 06 Mordecai got an
advance promotion to the rank of Legate for his outstanding contributions in
the Public Relations department. On 19
March 06, the Praetorian Guard was beefed up when the clan promoted 4 members
to the guard, namely: Eevil Ernie, Spy, Mordecai, and
Mad Max. Congratulations to all new
guards for such an achievement. On 20
March 06, Stefan had his ceremony and became a full member of our great
clan. On 21 March 06, Elfkin became a recruit and Mofo
became a friend of OFP (aka Vigiles). On 2 April 06, Tool’s big
brother, Belize, became a recruit of OFP, well on his way to becoming a full
member. Not too long after that,
on 4 Apr 06, Mofo also became a recruit of OFP. On the same day, our good friend Blusky graduated from his recruit camp and had a ceremony
as he too became a full member of our great club. On 7 Apr 06, our great friend joe-momma contributed a CS Source server to the clan, at
which time, OFP became a two game clan, thank you very much for your kind
generosity joe-momma.
A couple of days later, joe-momma
was promoted to the rank of Legate for his fine contributions to the clan. On the same day (9 Apr 06) Jack Burton became
a recruit in OFP. On 11 Apr 06, Elfkin had his ceremony and became a full member of our
great family. And finally, last but not
least, one of the last remaining original Friends of OFP, Dotmatrix
finally crossed the floor and decided to join the
ranks of our great club by becoming a recruit in OFP. For those of you who don’t know, Dotmatrix is the father of two of our members (dot mini 1,
and dot mini 2), he is also the son of one of our member (Sgt Savage), and the
uncle of another one of our member (Cookie Monster), isn’t this a great family?
A few more notables since the last news update, we may
soon get a new server for another game, yes you heard me right, OFP may be
launching into a third game soon, more news on this to follow. Our good friend Brokenmic
is back on playing with us, it is nice to have you back Brokenmic. The OFP clan will soon have its web site
hosted elsewhere because our current web hosting provider is getting out of the
web hosting business (this might cause a few glitches the day we transfer over,
but hopefully it will be minimal).
As usual, this was quite a mouthful, but I can’t help
it because so much goes on in the realm of OFP.

up. We would like to apologize to our
regulars and friends for the disruption this created, our web space provider
had significant problems with the box where we are hosted and had to rebuild
it, we lost all data on the site since 26th Feb 06, hence many
regulars who had just joined the forums don’t have an account with us anymore
and will have to register again.
Hopefully this newly configured box will be more
stable now.

It has been a while since I last updated this news section, I guess I am getting a little bit too lazy. It is certainly not because nothing has been
happening, quite the contrary, things in OFP are busier than ever before. The clan has joined the ranks of CAL-O, lead
by none other than the fearless Mad Max who has this to say:
OFP joined CAL-O. It is a hard thing to do because it
requires a lot of time and dedication. With a record of 4 wins and 2 losses, we
are still in a position that we can make the playoffs. Our CAL
team consists the
following members : Mad Max, Put Put Cars, DragonX, Mordecai, Spinn, Chaos,
Tool, DragonMastah and Beastfromhell.
We went through extensive strategies and gruelling practices.
We had help from one of Mad Max's good friends, aero,
who helped us through some of the scrims, matches, and strategies that we used.
Success in CAL can launch OFP
into the gaming
community as a mature, friendly, and skilled clans that are out there. There
are not that many clans out there that are proud to hold the structure that we
follow. Through this
success we can become a
role model for other clans out there, and set up the standards for the gaming
community.

In other news, on 19 Jan 2006, our good friend
Joe-momma became a Vigiles, he later became a recruit
(on 14 Feb). On 20th Jan Dr
Death (who has since changed his name to Cookie Monster) had his ceremony and
became a full member of our great clan. On 21 Jan, another one of our recruits,
Tool, had his ceremony and became a full member of our great clan. On the same
day, Stefan’s long wait to become a member of our clan ended when he was made
into a recruit (good luck on your way through the recruit stage Stef). On 26th
Jan, Eevil Ernie’s youngest son, IW, became a Vigiles. A day
later, one of the original friends of OFP, Sgt Savage, finally decided he
wanted to be OFP and he was made into a recruit. On 14th Feb, Spin was promoted to the rank of
Legate. On the same day mini2 celebrated his BD. On Feb the 15th,
Danger Gurl (now known to us all as Indie), celebrated her special 15th birthday on
the 15, we all hope this special day was great for you Jen. On 21 Feb Yoshi met
his requirements as a recruit and we had a nice ceremony for him where he
became a full member of our great clan. On the same day Sgt Seth finally became
a Vigiles. On 26th Feb, we recognized EE’s
fine contribution (financially on the scrim server and generally as a great
contributor on the forums and the server) to the clan by giving him an advance
promotion to Legate. The next day it was
Mad Max’s turn for his devotion to the clan and for providing us with a scrim
server. On March the 3rd, we
named three of our loyal and friendly regulars to the title of Vigiles (aka Friend of OFP),
namely: Bullet Magnet, Jack Burton, and BluSkye. And on March the 4th, Dragon Masta completed his recruit camp and had his ceremony, on
completion of which he became a full member of our great club, congrats Dragon.
I would like to also point out that our old friend Mr Jesticle is back playing with us on the server, we all
missed you Jesty and it is nice to have you back.
That is quite a mouthful, and until the next news

Well only two weeks have passed since I last updated these news. Some
significant events have occurred since then so I decided an update was well
worth it.
On 6 January 2006, our good friend There
is no spoon finally got the first operational version of our new roster up and
running. It is an automated roster that
gets filled in when applicants fill up their applications. It comes complete with a roster editor to
tweak the information for each applicant and a picture up loader to update the
member’s pictures. A lot of sweat went
into developing this integrated roster and we are grateful to the spoonless wonder for his efforts. He tells me that a lot more bells and
whistles will be available in the future so keep your eyes peeled for new
functionality.
Our scrim server is down right now, but fear not, it
is because a new one is in the making and it will be up and running
shortly. Our good friend Mad Max,
supported financially by none other than Big Fuzzy Gonads EE, is looking at
putting this in place in time for the OFP internal scrimmage season (you heard
me right, we have so many members and friends in this clan that we have started
our own internal league, isn’t that awesome).
On 14 January 2006, we made a fundamental change to
our clan constitution (as documented in our clan charter). Many members who play other games than CS 1.6
have been asking if they could be in a clan that did not intersect with the
gaming interests of OFP. As usual, we
have done what is right for our members and have changed our multi-clanning rules to allow for participation in clans that do
not formally play a game that OFP formally plays itself (read our charter for
the details).
On the same day, our dear friend Purebred made a come
back to our great family. Everyone rejoiced as we dearly missed his leadership
and charismatic personality.
As usual, this is a mouthful, but well worth
reporting. Until next

Well, almost a month and half since I last updated the clan
news. And again, as usual, our great
clan has seen many new developments since then. On 23 November, our good friend Dad, who
incidentally is the real Dad of both our full members Duffman
and Infected Chicken, became a recruit in our great clan. The next day, Dubbie
made it to recruit as well. About one week later, on 4 December, Mad Max, a
long time friend of OFP, and the big brother of BeastFromHell
also joined the clan and became a recruit in what would be the shortest stint
ever as a recruit in our clan. On 8
December, Mad Max donates his server to the clan, a very generous contribution
which allows OFP to get involved in scrims (his server is now known as the OFP
scrim server), thank you for your kind generosity Mad Max. On 11 December, Mad Max had already accumulated
enough points to graduate to full member of the clan and had his ceremony on
our public server. Around the same time,
another long time friend of OFP, Put Put Cars became
a recruit. A day later, on 12 Dec Yoshi became a recruit in our clan after being a loyal
regular on our server for well over 6 months.
On the same day, our good friend Lash became eligible for graduation and
had his ceremony 2 days later, on 14 December, and was made a full member. On the same day, BeastFromHell
graduated as a recruit as well. Five
days later, on 19th December the Dot Mini’s cousin Dr.Death became a recruit in our great clan. On 20 December, both C-Diddy
and Dad achieved their required number of points as recruits, Dad had his
ceremony on Christmas day and Diddy had his on the 27th. On 24th December a long time
regular on our server, Stefan, became a friend of OFP, followed by SuperCrazy on the 29th. On the 29th, our server provider
changed our server IP on us (the new IP is displayed on top of this news
page). On the 30th December
2005, our good friend DragonMasta and loyal regular
for more than 6 months became a recruit, and finally, last but not least, our good friend [D]ragon[X] was promoted to the rank of General on the same
day.
As usual, this was a mouthful. As an aside, on the 24th December
2005, the OFP clan members observed a moment of silence in memory of Tom Peters
who passed away on that day a year ago.
May you continue to rest in peace my dear friend.
It has been a while since I have written news here, it does not mean not a lot has been happening. In
fact, it has been really busy at OFP, We have had many
applications and many events occurring in the last couple of months.
On 26 October, our good friend C-Diddy
reached the ranks of Urban Cohort, on the same day Mordy
reached the required point count to graduate.
On 27 October, we had a grand ceremony for Mordy
who became a Centurion. On 28 October
our good friend Infected Chicken also had his ceremony and put on his Centurion
uniform. A day later, on 29 October my
good buddy Eevil Ernie achieved the same objective
and is now in full Centurion battle armour.
On 4 November, Tool joined the ranks of Urban Cohort. A day alter, we had a ceremony for our good
friend [D]ragon[X] who was promoted to the ranks of the
Praetorian Guard, making him a candidate for the council of Generals, and on 17
November [D]ragon[X] assumed the appointment of OFP
Clan Public Relations Officer, a very important job in our clan.
There were also other players who became Vigiles during the period, to name a few, our good friends Yoshi, Dragon Masta, Dubbie, Dad,.
As you can see we have been keeping really busy. One
look at our psychostats will show you that we have
bee averaging over 200 players on the server per day, on several occasions we
have had over 300 players, and on some occasions over 400 players, a proof that
our gaming environment is one that people truly enjoy.
Finally, I would like to wish everyone a holiday
period full of fun and joy, and most of all lots of frags.

Well a lot of water has flowed under the bridge since
the last time we put news here. Of
particular interest was the departure from our clan by three of our good
friends (Purebred, Jesticle, and Paperboy), they have
decided OFP was not for them and they have created a clan of their own and we
wish them the best of luck in this endeavour.
Another member, Eldar Spirit has decided to
join them, he still plays with us from time to time, we
also wish him good luck. On a more
positive note, Danger_gurl (formerly known as SeXXXayBABE) decided to re-join our clan after a brief
absence (glad to have you back among us).
Beastfromhell is also back as a recruit. We also have several new recruits who are in
the process of becoming full members, including my old friend Eevil Ernie, Mordecai, Fire Goddess,
and Infected Chicken. One of our
old recruits (Bobbloodwork) who had gone MIA for
about 6 months has come back and resumed his progress as recruit (welcome back
home Bob). We have temporarily lost our
event calendar while we are working on revamping it into a better clan
tool. Our good friend, There is no spoon
has been appointed to clan Executive Officer and is now in charge of the day to
day operation of our great club (congrats spoon). Our good friend, Spin is now a full member
(as of 24 August) after graduating from his recruit stage, he is the first
recruit to make it through the 75 points rule, proving that it is possible to
achieve (well done Spin). Tool has
become a friend of OFP, on his way to becoming a recruit. C-diddy
is also a new friend of OFP. Our good
friend [D]ragon[X] has been promoted to legate two
months ahead of schedule because of his great support to the clan.
During the period, the clan has also implemented a
whole new ranking structure based on the roman empire
(see our charter page for more details), we wish to thank our former member Jesticle for the good idea and the research he did for us.
Well that was quite the mouthful,

Since the last news, our good friends Deadbunny
and [D]ragon[X] became full members and Cheto finally became a recruit. We also had lots of birthday celebrations
this month, our good friends Vicstah, Cobra, brokenmic, and Mascot all celebrated birthdays this

Well, we have had some major disruption over the past
week. Something that I have been through
before, so I was not too worried, I knew it could be done, but it is never fun
when it happens. Our old server
provider, world core gamer, went out of the game server and web hosting
business, so we lost our two pubs and web site all at once. But with the dedication of clan members we
were able to get things back in operation.
We don’t have a source server yet, but it will come soon. Right now, our web site is almost all back as
it was before, we have a 24 slot server with a great ping, we have about 160
maps on it ( spent 5 hours uploading last night), and we still have our 12 slot
private scrim server. Our vent server
with world core gamer is still operational, but we are not sure for how long.
Well that is a mouth full, come and play with us on
our new public server, it is a lot of fun.

Lots of water under the bridge since the last time I
wrote news for our great clan. On March
29th, Darthron became a full member of our great
clan, On April the 18th Korristo became a full
member, on April the 19th a new friend we had met a couple of weeks earlier on
our source server, Lash, became a friend of OFP. On April the 23rd, Deadbunny,
son of Darthron, and brother of SeXXXayBABE
became a recruit in our great clan. Last
week, on May the first, Lash became a recruit and just a couple of days ago [D]ragon[X] also became a recruit in our great clan.
A very significant event occurred just last night,
when our good friend Darthron was promoted to the
council of the great OFP clan for all of his contributions to clan life.
Our clan is currently working on a new ranking
structure to spice things up a little more around here, so look here for more
news in the future on this subject.
We had made a strategic decision last month to start
our move to CS source. We had
anticipated the move to be completed by this month. It would appear that source is not catching
on as fast as we had hoped, so we will make the transition take a little bit
longer. We are not putting a date on it
yet, as we don’t want to commit to a date until source catches on for our
clan. Until then, we will have 3
servers, one 24 slot CS 1.6 pub, one 18 slot cs
source pub, and one 12 slot cs 1.6 private that we
use for scrims.
That about wraps it up for news for the
last month and two weeks.

Lots more news to tell you about since the last time
we had news. First and foremost, for
those of you who had been following Mascot’s story telling on our forums, the story
has ended, thank you for the entertainment Mascot, it was gut wrenching till
the very end, I certainly hope you come up with more stories.
Since the last news, Cheto
celebrated his birthday on the 14th, Mr Whoopie
became a recruit on the 15th, Darthron became a
recruit on the 18th, the same day his daughter SeXXXayBABE became a full member of our great clan. On the 19th, Cheto
officially became a friend of OFP and on the same day, our good friend Korristo became a recruit, on the 20th there was an OGL
match, I will not go into the details of that match other than the fact that
paperboy did so well with his mp5 the other clan called him an mp5 hacking god.
During this period, our good friend Mr There is no
spoon made some improvement to the adminmod plugin he developed for our clan, and he has accepted the
job of web site designer, so be ready to see some significant improvements to
our web site in the near future as this fellow is some talented individual.
Last but not least, our good friend Purebred166
purchased an 18 slot CS source server.
This move marks the beginning of our clan’s transition towards CS
Source. We will be phasing
out our CS 1.6 servers over the next couple of months as we transition fully
into source. The plan is to get a 24 slot Source server when we drop our 1.6
pub and scrim servers, at which time we may convert the 18 player pub source
server into our source scrim server, we will also move to source league play at
that time too. Keep your ear to the
ground for more news in the near future, this clan is growing and moving
forward into real good things.

Well, lots of news since the last time our news
section was updated. First and foremost,
today is the birthday of our good friend Duffman, who
just turned 11 years young, happy birthday duffy. Since the 25th of February, Predator became a
friend of OFP (February the 26th) on ItsAFireFruck’s
birthday, Cashew Nuts finally accepted our proposal to become full member as
one of the original FOFP (February the
27th), Eldar Spirirt completed his recruit camp and had a colorfull ceremony where he became a full member of our
great clan (March the 5th), we had our first OGL match (on March the 10th and I
won’t go into the details on this one), brokenmic completed his recruit camp and had a nice
ceremony where he too became a full member of our great clan (March the 10th),
this was followed one day later by the same kind of event for There is no spoon
who too is now a full member of our great clan (as of March the 11th), last
night we finally had an opportunity to make Darthron
(seXXXXayBABAE’s dad) a FOFP on his way to becoming a
member of our great clan, and this morning Korristo
also joined the ranks of the FOFP on his quest to become a full member as well.
WOW, that was a mouthful. As you can see there is a lot of activity
going on in our great clan, our family of online gaming friends keeps growing
as we go. Our good friend There is no
spoon (he is our clan’s computer genius), developed a complete adminmod module containing 6 specialized OFP commands in
it. If you ever see a retard on our
server saying nice things about our clan at the start of every round followed
by his quick demise, it will be one of those commands in action. I have not had the chance to use this command
yet, as it is reserved only for the worst of offenders.

Well, more news since the last time I entered news
here. First and foremost, today is the deadline
for the original friends of OFP to use their free pass to join our great
clan. Also, our clan has evolved so much
that part of our constitution had to be re-written to adapt to the clan. As of today none of the original friends of
OFP will have any admin on our server. I
personally thank all of them for their assistance during this transition
period. Since the last news, Sporfoo, Brokenmic, and Thereisnospoon all became recruits of our great clan. Purebred and Mascot became members of the
council on 13 February, and last but not least, our good friend Paperboy
graduated from his recruit stage and is now a full member of our great club
(beware he is now real tough).

Well much has happened since the last news. First, EldarSpirit
became a recruit of our clan on his way to full membership last Friday the 11th
of February, please wish him good luck in his efforts
through his recruit stage. On a similar
note, Brokenmic became the newest Friend of OFP in
his attempt to achieve membership in our great clan (also bought himself a new
computer so he can start to own all of us).
On Sunday the 13th, Tranquil Red` completed his recruit camp and had a
great ceremony at the end of which he was made full member of our clan,
congratulation Tranquil. On the same day Sporfoo
became the newest Friend of OFP, he too on his way to become a recruit of our
great clan. We have now officially
joined OGL and are waiting for our first challenge to be approved. Mascot has taken over the responsibilities of
recruiting Officer. And last but not
least, seXXXayBABE is celebrating her birthday today.

Well do I have news for you today. Yesterday Jesticle
finally had his ceremony and became a full member of our great clan. And today, it was Purebred166’s turn. When you see them, congratulate them for
their outstanding achievements.

became the first woman member of our clan as she became a recruit. She now has to endure the tough stage of
being a recruit, so wish her good luck as she progresses towards becoming a

Some more good news. Last night our good friend, and the first one
to become an original friend of OFP has decided that it was time to take me up
on my offer and became the newest full member of our great clan. Welcome to Mascot. Also, we have had another application into our
clan, sexxxaybabe is the latest regular on our server
who will take a shot at becoming full member of our great clan. Whish her good luck in her quest.

Great news for our great clan today (it seems this is
all we have great news, I hope I am not going to jinx us, but it does not seem
we can have bad news), today, at OFP headquarters we unanimously voted
purebred166 and gfpaperboy22 to be recruits of our great clan and they
both accepted the challenge. Wish them both good luck in their quest to become full members of this
great clan. They will undergo some
transformation in the next few days, they will grow hair on their nails and
become real tough, you will see, it is just that way
when you become OFP.

A few good news since the last time I
entered clan news on this page.
Our good friend Flip Side has completed his recruit camp and became a
full member last night after completing his recruit stage and having a very
colourful ceremony on our public server.
Join us all in congratulating Flip Side on his great achievement.. Other recruits are
progressing, so eventually we should be having more ceremonies. We could potentially have two new friends of
OFP later on this week, the matter has been put to a clan vote and so far
things look pretty good. We have not
forgotten about the passing of Tom. Those of us who knew
him, play with a tag paying respect to his memory. If you see me and other clan members wearing
the tag {MemOf.CB} (or something similar), it stands
for “in memory of CB (CB being the abbreviation for the game name he used).

Well, I know there has been sad news around here lately, I am still recovering from the sad departure of our
good friend Tom. I am sure that Tom
would like his friends to just move on and take the game to new levels. But still, it is hard,
he was such a nice guy. So we move on as a clan just like Tom would like all
his friends to.
In the past couple of days many new things have
happened at the OFP central. Duffman and SpenCamaN have both
accepted my offer which was opened to all original friends of OFP and have
become full members of this great clan.
And today, both Jesticle and BobBloodWork have become recruits of this great clan on
their way to become full members of this great clan. Please congratulate all of them if you run accros them, this is truly becoming a great family.

It is with the most profound sadness that I have to
announce the departure of one of the original friends of OFP. Tom Peters, also known to many of his friends
as DD Charles Bronson, and who was also an honorary member of the XTC clan has
sadly past away this last weekend after a long and brave battle with
cancer. Our thoughts and deep sympathies
go with his family, relatives, and friends.
Throughout his ordeal, Tom showed courage unlike anything I have ever
seen in my life, he took his fight with this evil disease as an every day
challenge and even joked about it until the very end. Tom, as I hold back the tears, I wish you the
best in heaven where your soul will rest as it deserves from now to eternity.

Today our great clan got a new and more flexible event
calendar, have a look at it, it is much more
responsive than the old one we had, and this one will get used even more. I have named both Spy and Silent Assassin admins for this calendar, so if you want an event

your BD, then ask these two fine members of our great clan and I am sure they
will be very happy to help you out.

last night. Our good friend Cobra has
decided to take me up on my offer for free membership to the original friends

very happy to say that OFP now has a new 12 slots private server to be used for
scrims. I have updated the server page
with rules that govern the usage of the private server, so all those interested
in organizing scrims, make sure you become very
familiar with those details.

listing all of the custom maps that we have on the public server. Those maps can all be voted for.

Has finally completed his recruit camp, all he needs is to go through the

Also, I have registered the clan with game surge for
an IRC channel, I have put a link to the channel on our left panel of the web
site (where all the links are) so come and chat with us about clan stuff and
game play, it is where we will meet before scrims.
Christmas is coming real fast, and I thoughtI would put a little picture here to help people get
in the spirit. Remember, don’t drink and
drive, lots of Christmas parties and I know the temptation is great, but the
responsible thing is to find a way back before the drinking starts, that way
you are not left in a position where you are too tempted when your faculties
are not totally there to help you make the right decision.

Wow, lots of new stuff has happened over the past
week, for one thing we have several new members, ItsAfireFruck accepted my
offer and is now a full OFP, so did Doberman, and
Silent Assassin, so
as you can see our family of friends is continuously growing, Flipside is a
friend of OFP and may soon become a recruit.
I have also activated the roster page, so everyone can
now get to know us better (it is still a work in progress as the information to
fill it up trickles in), I have password protected the picture part, this part
only the full clan members can see, after all, clan membership has its privileges. I have also updated the credit page to give
credit to Trigun. (that is trigun with a dot at the end) for designing the clan
banner, I have also added credit to Storm Trooper for the design of his theme
for psychostat (this is the theme I customized to make
the stats page look more OFP like). I
also added a front end to the OFP join page to give everyone who wants to join
a few words explaining what to do to join this great clan. Wow, I am breathless,
there is sooooo much happening in the great clan.

Today I had to password protect
the join form to protect the web site against spam
bots. Spam bots is malicious code
written to automatically fill forms thousands of times which results in mail
servers and web sites crashing. By password
protecting the page, I have essentially reduced chances of that happening.. It is at the cost
of accessibility. For those who want to
join our great clan, you can obtain the username and password to
the page from one of our members or from any of the Friends of OFP who have
access to our Friend of OFP forums. I
realize this does not completely eliminate the possibility of being spammed,
but it reduces it considerably (the source of the spam
would have to be one related to a clan member, a friend, or someone who has
applied). I intend to mitigate this risk
by frequently changing the password.

days I have finally been able to install the latest version of psychostats. I guess
